Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Tuesday and five Wednesday. They also had a false alarm Tuesday and performed one carbon monoxide check that day.

Barton County Sheriff
Damage to a fence in the 10 block of NE 140 Road, northeast of Hoisington, was reported Wednesday.

Great Bend Police
A burglary at  the 281 Bypass Flea Market, 1135 U.S. 281 Bypass, was reported Wednesday. Someone broke into the business and stole items. Loss was over $1,000.
Damage to the windshield on a car at 2027 Morton St. was reported Wednesday. Loss was $400.
A burglary at Cerv’s, 1000 Main, was reported Thursday. Several items were stolen.
