Great Bend Police

Wednesday reports:

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 2300 block of Washington Ave.

A woman reported theft of checks from her residence in Albert. The sheriff’s office was contacted.

A known person allegedly picked up a forged prescription for Lortab from 3920 10th St.

A 48-year-old man was taken into protective custody at 11:33 p.m. and transported to Larned State Hospital.

A dog at 1910 Madison St. was shot by someone with a BB gun.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A woman reported checks were stolen from her residence at 5005 Second St., Albert, and over $700 worth of bad checks had been written.

A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 500 block of Cunnife Ave., Pawnee Rock.
