Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Monday. There were no fires.

A Lyons woman was injured Monday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 56, on the east edge of Ellinwood. Cynthia P. Glass, 56, was driving west at 6:16 p.m. when, for an unknown reason, the Buick sport utility vehicle left the roadway and went into the north ditch, where it overturned three or four times. She was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital. Glass was wearing a seat belt. A spokesman for Via Christi Health in Wichita said Glass was listed in serious condition Tuesday afternoon.

Monday reports

A forgery at 1017 Harrison St. was reported.

A woman reported being robbed by a known person, Monday morning at 1707 Hubbard St. The suspect allegedly pushed her down and took her medications.

Pills were also reportedly stolen from a purse at 1212 Hubbard St. by an unknown person.

A woman reported someone using her Social Security number to gain employment.

A vehicle driven by Cheryl French was northbound on Cherokee Road at 3:11 p.m. and collided with a vehicle driven by Virginia Ramey, who was eastbound on Broadway Ave.

Theft of a license tag from 2206 27th St. was reported.

A burglary at 805 Hubbard St. was reported Monday evening. Two subjects reportedly entered the residence through a window and left with several items.

Theft of a check from 1801 Jackson St. was reported.
