Kansas Highway Patrol A semi-trailer driver was taken to Salina Regional Health Center on Wednesday morning, after he swerved to avoid another semi in the construction zone on Interstate 70 in Lincoln County, 0.3 miles west of Beverly Road. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Brent P. Nuest, 33, of Ellinwood, turned a Kenworth rig through the median and failed to yield to a Peterbuilt driven by Larry D. Dinwiddie, 37, from Marshfield, Mo. Dinwiddie avoided the Kenworth by going into the south ditch, where his semi-trailer rolled onto its side.
