Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fire calls.

Great Bend Police
A burglary was reported Thursday morning at the Natural Resources Conservation Service office, 1520 Kansas Ave.
A former employee reportedly stole money from Casey’s General Store, 1315 10th St.
An accident was reported at 9:11 a.m. at 17th and McKinley.
Two people reported receiving phone calls from a subject claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service. Such calls are usually attempted phone scams and no information or money should be given to the caller.
An Illinois license plate was found in the 1300 block of 10th Street.
A Great Bend woman reported theft of money from her bank account.

Barton County Sheriff
At 7:20 a.m. Thursday an individual in rural Ellinwood was taken to the hospital following a possible overdose, and was later transported to Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita. A shotgun with a sawed off barrel under 18 inches was recovered from the residence.
A possible fraud case was reported in the county,
Criminal damage to property was reported at NE 80 Ave. and K-156.
