Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made four ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday and one Sunday. At 6:07 p.m. Friday they extinguished a old abandoned shed on fire at 51 SW 30 Road. At 10:42 p.m. Friday they responded to a possible explosion with fire at 1712 Third St. and found a pit fire in the back yard, which the occupant extinguished.
