Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made nine ambulance runs Monday. There was one false alarm, but no fire calls.

Great Bend Police
A traffic stop at 7:13 a.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Washington Ave. resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old Great Bend man for no driver’s license and possession of paraphernalia. Christian Urias was booked into the Barton County Jail and released after posting a $2,500 surety bond.
A Great Bend resident reported a forgery – someone signing his name without permission.
Vehicles driven by Jack Ploutz and Marila Antillon collided at 6 p.m. Monday at 12th and Main.

Barton County Sheriff
Two vehicles collided at 2:04 p.m. Monday in a backing accident on East Barton County Road and East U.S. 56.
A vehicle hit a deer at 9:07 p.m., half a mile east of Hoisington on K-4.
