Kansas Highway Patrol
Two men were taken to the McPherson Hospital on Tuesday after vehicles collided at 2:57 p.m., 3 miles southwest of McPherson. Hans Neulfeld, 64, from Galva, was westbound on Eisenhower Road and failed to yield right of way to a vehicle driven by Fredrick Leroy Miller, 42, of Lyons, that was southbound on K-61. Both were wearing seat belts.

Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Tuesday and nine Wednesday.
At 2:13 p.m. Wednesday, units responded to 200 West U.S. 56, just west of Coe Russell Corner, for a ditch fire. Chief Mike Napolitano said they found two ditch fires approximately 200 yards apart. One fire spread into trees, which took some time to completely extinguish. A total of approximately 2 acres burned.

Great Bend Police
A non-injury accident was reported at 9:14 a.m. Tuesday on Forest Ave.
A wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle at 5906 Eisenhower Court B sometime Monday night.
Theft of a bicycle was reported at 3806 Broadway Ave.
Kansas tag 441 DHM was reportedly stolen from a trailer at 1914 Van Buren St.
Lisa Shipley, Great Bend, was arrested around 9:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Warner Circle, on charges of aggravated battery and aggravated assault. She was booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
Vehicles driven by Terry Esfeld and Laura Millard collided at 7 a.m. Wednesday at 19th and Harrison St.
Someone keyed a vehicle at 730 Taft St.
A vehicle driven by Joshua Allman backed into a parked vehicle at 12:11 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Garfield St.
The Golden Belt Humane Society responded to 2535 Forest Ave. around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday when the occupant reported an unknown animal was stuck in the attic.
