Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Tuesday. There were no fires.

Other fires
Hoisington Fire Department responded to a fire at 12:41 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of NW 60 Ave.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday on NE 10 Ave. and East K-4.
Golden Belt Humane Society’s animal control officer requested a deputy at 3:32 p.m. to write a ticket for a dog with now rabies vaccination in the 3300 block of 19th St. GBHS also planned to pick up the animal.
A burglary was reported at 2302 Railroad Ave., where storage sheds had been broken into.

Great Bend Police
A narcotics case was taken Tuesday morning in the 2200 block of 30th St.
A vehicle was eastbound on 24th St. at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday and struck an eastbound school bus from Hays, as the bus driver was turning south onto Washington St. The other motorist then drove away.
