Great Bend Fire/EMSFirefighters made 10 ambulance runs Tuesday and eight Wednesday.At 3:57 p.m. Tuesday crews from Great Bend and Albert responded to a grass fire at 240 NW 20 Ave. They found a small area of grass and an old shed on fire. Great Bend Fire Chief Mike Napolitano said the property was owned by Homer Kruckenberg. Gerald Oetken from Larned was using a cutting torch to cut old farm machinery when a spark or ember caught the grass on fire.
