Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Wednesday. There was one fire call.
At 4:22 a.m. fire units responded to an automatic alarm at Great Bend High School. Upon arrival crews found no visible fire or smoke, the building was checked with the help of an 428 employee and found a faulty detector.

A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 111 on K-4.
A non-injury accident was reported at NE 190 Road and NE 10 Ave.
A non-injury accident was reported at SE 40 Road and SE 90 Ave.
Burglary/not in progress was reported at 1332 NE 180 Road in Claflin.
