Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday, five Sunday and four Monday.
At 7:44 p.m. Saturday they responded to 80 SE 20 Road for a power line down.
At 4:30 p.m. Sunday they checked a report of a natural gas smell and found a leak in the area of 18th St. and U.S. 281 Bypass.

Other fires
Ellinwood Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 248 SE 100 Ave. A at 1:39 a.m. Sunday. A dirt bike with a fuel leak had been ridden earlier and then placed in a shed.

Great Bend Police
A case was taken Friday at Walmart, where a store employee was alledgedly voiding items while checking certain people out, but still giving the items to the customer.
A minor injury accident was report at 1:05 p.m. Friday at 3307 10th St. A vehicle driven by Debra Higgins was westbound and struck a vehicle driven by Britany MacWilliams, who was stopped in traffic. A vehicle driven by Caleb Bartlett then hit the Higgins vehicle.
A Great Bend resident reported unknown person taking her cell phone and running up a bill of more than $10,000.
A Child in Need of Care case was taken Friday.
At 6:44 p.m. Friday, an individual at 125 Chestnut St. reported unknown persons shooting his dog with a BB gun and taking his bicycle. Loss was $100.
Police responded to a domestic battery in the southeast part of town at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. A woman reported her boyfriend was drunk and angry and threw a glass full of urine on her, then ran from the house when she called 911.
Theft of medication from 926 Madison St. was reported.
A Great Bend resident reported two credit cards being taken out in his name.
An individual reported renting a Kobalt welder valued at $400 from True Value, and then the welder was stolen.
At 7:04 p.m. Saturday, Great Bend Regional Hospital staff reported a juvenile had been hit by a vehicle backing on private property.
A propane tank was reportedly stolen from 1207 Adams St. Loss was $35.

Barton County Sheriff
Two vehicles collided at 3:14 p.m. Friday at SW 50 Ave. and West U.S. 56.
Someone damaged a mailbox at 114 NE 100 Road.
A Red Blazer with broken windows and a flat tire was parked on the side of North U.S. 281 in the 400 block at 2:46 a.m. Saturday. Theft of this vehicle was reported Saturday afternoon.
A car hit a deer at 3:42 a.m. Saturday at NE 90 Ave. and NE 130 Road.
Theft of electricity at 350 North U.S. 281 was reported Saturday. A known person was allegedly bypassing the electric box.
A non-injury accident involving a patrol unit at East Third St. and North Oak St. was reported at 7:17 p.m. Saturday.
