Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance calls Wednesday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A window on a Chevy 1500 at 2602 Williams St. was shot, it was reported Wednesday. Loss was $200.
At 2:26 p.m., a black BMW was parked in the roadway at 1657 K-96. When the owner was contacted the car was found to be stolen. Clifford Burns was arrested as a suspect in this case and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of burglary and theft.

Barton County Sheriff
Two ladders over tank batteries were stolen from 32 NW 60 Road, it was reported Wednesday.
Wednesday evening, a motorist reported hitting a deer Tuesday night between Dundee and Pawnee Rock on U.S. 56.
On Wednesday, a Dodge Neon that was impounded Sunday at 15 SE 90 Ave. was reported as stolen from Dodge City.

Brock Ryan, Great Bend — Charges added to original aggravated battery charge are: aggravated burglary, criminal possession of a firearm. Bond on all charges is now $50,000.
Jenna King, Salina — Probation violation
Luis Sanchez-Villegas, Great Bend — Contempt, failure to appear
Clifford Burns, Great Bend — Theft and burglary
Carol Davis, Heizer — Rice County and Saline County warrants for giving a worthless check
James Dick, Bison — Rush County case for battery

Michael Wheeler, Great Bend — Serve sentence
Silverio Garcia — $1,000 surety bond
Collin Kern, Great Bend — $500 cash bond (bond reduced on contributing to a child’s misconduct and obstruction); “He is to have no contact with the victim and he is directed to travel to Illinois and stay, not to come back to Kansas.”
