Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Wednesday. There was one fire call.
At 9:03 a.m. fire units responded to 8823 4th St. at the airport for a gas leak. Upon arrival units found a high pressure gas line that had been hit with a back hoe and was leaking. The gas company was immediately contacted and was able to stop the leak then make repairs.

Great Bend Police
An injury accident was reported at 5608 Eisenhower Ave.
An injury accident was reported at 16th Street and Kansas Avenue. A vehicle was making a left J turn and struck another vehicle which was traveling north on Kansas Avenue.
Theft was reported at Loves Country Store located at 1221 10th St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 1721 Washington St.
