Michelle Rene Jarvis, Ellinwood — Battery domestic violence
Edward Klusener, 45, Great Bend — Aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, felony flee and elude, driving while habitual driver, no insurance, illegal tags and failure to report an accident. Bond set at $40,000. Police logs show he was stopped at 7:09 a.m. Thursday after a pursuit by a Great Bend Police officer that ended on Ninth St. in Great Bend.

Barton County Sheriff
Two children, ages 4 and 6 years, were taken into custody from a rural Barton County residence at 6 p.m. Thursday, and released to juvenile intake as children in need of care.

Great Bend Police
A purse was stolen from an unknown location in Great Bend, it was reported Thursday.
A theft case was taken after a resident reported not receiving her 2014 vehicle decal in the mail.
A phone scam going on in Great Bend was reported.
