Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday and four Sunday.
At 10:42 a.m. Friday, firefighters were dispatched to 329 NE 10 Ave., after someone reported possibly seek a barn on fire. There was no structure fire; the flames were from a controlled burn that had been approved earlier.
At 3:25 a.m. Sunday firefighters were dispatched to 1908 Harrison St., where an automatic alarm had gone off. Finding no fire, they checked the house and reset the alarm. They believe the alarm was activated by the storm going on at that time.

An injury accident was reported at 1:49 p.m. Friday at NE 110 and NW 190 Road.
A burglary in progress was reported at 257 South Vine St. in Hoisington at 8:51 p.m. Friday.
A theft was reported at 2:11 p.m. Saturday at Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th St., Great Bend. Deputies assisted the Great Bend Police Department by attempting to locate theft suspects and a vehicle.
A fraud case was taken Sunday afternoon. The reporting party stated someone posing as a Department of Justice employee telephoned and said she would be arrested if she didn’t pay a “fine.” No money was paid.

At 3:04 a.m. Friday officers assisted the Barton County Sheriff’s Office in checking on a report of shots fire in the 100 block of Washington St., Great Bend.
Theft of a tire was reported Friday morning at Favela Roofing, 1320 10th St.
Damage to a sign was reported at Stone Lake.
A non-injury accident was reported at 10:04 a.m. at Stone Lake.
A non-injury accident was reported at 2:36 p.m. at Forest and McKinley.
A bike was found at 1:18 a.m. Saturday at Presto-Circle K, 2337 Washington.
An injury accident was reported at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at 24th and Harrison. A vehicle driven by Gary Johnson was westbound in the 3200 block of 24th St. and struck a fence and a tree. Johnson reportedly had minor head injuries. He was checked by Great Bend Ambulance but refused treatment. The vehicle was towed by Marmies.
At 12:11 p.m. Saturday a party reported criminal damage, saying an unknown male came up to his vehicle with a baseball bat at Papa John’s, 1305 K-96. The responding officer did not make contact with the subject.
Theft of a phone charger was reported Saturday afternoon at Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th St.
Someone damaged a truck at Great Bend Fire Station No. 2, 5851 10th St.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 1721 Lincoln St.
An unknown motorist was westbound on Ninth St. at 3:39 a.m. Sunday and struck a parked 2013 Ford F-150 at Ninth and Heizer. The driver left the area on foot and the vehicle was towed by Marshalls.
A non-injury accident was reported at 9:37 a.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St. An officer observed security video and discovered the accident did not occur at Walmart.
Theft of fuel was reported at 10:57 a.m. at Zip Stop No. 2, 1906 Main.
A burglary was reported at 2718 19th St. Items were stolen from the residence.
A non-injury accident was reported at 9:52 p.m. Sunday at 16th and Kansas. Vehicles collided after one driver reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign. The other vehicle was towed by Marshalls.
A theft was reported at 5:47 a.m. Monday at 2900 Williams St.
