Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Monday.
There was one fire call. At 6:44 p.m. firefighters were called to 812 Holland for a gas meter that was leaking. They discovered that the homeowner was digging a posthole and cut the polyethylene gas line. The homeowner stated that he contacted Dig Safe and they had the line marked. The homeowner had also called the gas company when the line was hit, along with 911. The gas company arrived to stop and repair the leak.

Theft was reported at 1214 Eisenhower Ave.
A non-injury accident was reported in the 3400 Block of 10th St.
Theft was reported at Love’s Country Store located at 1221 10th St.
Burglary/not in progress was reported at 2911 24th St.
