Barton County SheriffA fuel card was stolen and multiple unauthorized charges were made, it was reported Thursday.A vehicle hit a deer on North Washington Ave. at 7:18 p.m. Thursday.A Ford Ranger driven by Fred R. Kincaid, 87, Hutchinson, was southbound on U.S. 281 at 11:15 p.m. Thursday and failed to negotiate the curve at NW 10 Ave. The pickup struck a guide wire coming from a power pole, causing the top of the pole to break. Debris landed on the road. The driver was taken to Clara Barton Hospital by Hoisington Emergency Medical Services with minor injuries.
