Barton County Sheriff
A fuel card was stolen and multiple unauthorized charges were made, it was reported Thursday.
A vehicle hit a deer on North Washington Ave. at 7:18 p.m. Thursday.
A Ford Ranger driven by Fred R. Kincaid, 87, Hutchinson, was southbound on U.S. 281 at 11:15 p.m. Thursday and failed to negotiate the curve at NW 10 Ave. The pickup struck a guide wire coming from a power pole, causing the top of the pole to break. Debris landed on the road. The driver was taken to Clara Barton Hospital by Hoisington Emergency Medical Services with minor injuries. Hoisington Police Department assisted.
A vehicle driven by Nyle Reinert struck a deer one mile east of Doonan’s on U.S. 56 at 4:56 a.m. Friday.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Sean Demel hit a pole at 4820 10th St. at 11:13 a.m. Thursday.
Illegal dumping in a ditch at 1500 U.S. 281 Bypass was reported.
Wildlife and Parks was contacted Thursday afternoon when people reported seeing an injured goose on 10th St.
