Great Bend Fire DepartmentFirefighters checked a possible carbon monoxide problem at 2103 Monroe St. at 1:35 p.m. on Friday, but found nothing.They were dispatched to Long John Silver’s at 1:09 p.m. Saturday. There had been a small grease fire that was extinguished by staff before their arrival.Two more CO checks were performed over the weekend. At 5:21 p.m. Saturday they found a malfunction with the CO detector at 1217 Harding St., but no CO was found.
