Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Monday. There was one fire call. At 12:59 p.m. units responded to 47 NW 50 Road for a controlled burn that might be getting out of control. Upon arrival found the owner burning a pile of brush that had started to burn the grass in the area. The owner was able to get control of the fire and units assisted with hot spots.

Great Bend Police
An injury accident was reported at 10th and Main St.
Burglary was reported at 2117 8th St.

Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident was reported at NW 30 Road and NW 10 Ave. A vehicle hit a deer.
