Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance runs on Thursday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
A two vehicle collision in the 200 block of South U.S. 281 was reported at 12:53 p.m. Thursday. No injuries were reported.

Great Bend Police
A Walmart employee reported being battered by a known male, Thursday morning at the store. A notice to appear in municipal court was served.
The back window on a vehicle at 2511 Lakin Ave. was shattered.
At noon Thursday, GBPD officers were requested to stand by in the area of 2208 26th St., to assist state patrol. Two police officers later served a search warrant at that address.
