Werick, 61, Hoisington, was eastbound on East Barton County Road, about two miles east of Great Bend, at 8:40 a.m. Saturday when the driver lost control. The car left the road through the south ditch and struck a tree. Werick, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital (GBRH) with unknown injuries.Great Bend PoliceA vehicle driven by Aimee Wyant was southbound on Main near 10th St. at 7:50 a.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Jason Haberman, who was also southbound.Theft of a laptop computer from 3515 Broadway was reported.A burglary at 1716 Third St. was reported.
