Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters had eight Emergency Medical Service calls on Wednesday. At 9:13 a.m. they performed a carbon monoxide check at 210 McKinley St., but found nothing.

Great Bend Police
A stolen cell phone was recovered on Wednesday and returned to the owner at Great Bend High School.
A burglary at 1440 12th St. was reported Wednesday. Someone entered the house and took appliances and furniture.
Deanna Schwank was backing a vehicle in the 1700 block of Main at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday and struck a parked vehicle.

Barton County Sheriff
A burglary at 798 NW 30 Road was reported Wednesday. Someone entered the home and took several items.
A signpost at SE 60 Ave. and SE 50 Road was broken.
