Barton County Sheriff
A sex offense was reported Monday in Pawnee Rock.
A stop sign was down at NE 80 Ave. and NE 140 Road.
Officers were asked to check on a female seen getting out of a vehicle on North U.S. 281 near NE 30 Road around 3:45 p.m. Monday. She reported a domestic battery but did not need medical attention.
Officers transported a juvenile to a mental health facility in Hays.

Great Bend Police
A sex offense was reported Monday.
A welder was reportedly stolen from a shop at 326 C St.
Someone used a victim’s checking account number to write a $1,000 check.
A male reportedly stole $83.43 in fuel from 3620 10th St., around 5:55 p.m.
