Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Tuesday. There were no fires.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A 46-year-old man was injured Tuesday night in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in Russell County. Timothy N. Jackson of Fayetteville, N.C., was driving a semitrailer and lost control nine miles east of Russell, around 10 p.m. The vehicle struck the west guardrail and jackknified on the bridge. He was taken to Russell Regional Hospital.

Great Bend Police
An outside agency assist was done Tuesday, concerning a report of a gun being stolen in Topeka.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of copper wire from the 700 block of NE 130 Ave. was reported Tuesday.
A few vehicles slid off the roads Tuesday night but no injuries or serious damage was reported.
