Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Tuesday. Units made two fire runs. At 7:55 p.m. units responded to 1612 Morphy for smoke smell. Upon investigation units found a small stove that was extremely hot to touch on the outside of the appliance and plastic trash can was next to the stove and the bag had shrunk due to heat.
At 3:30 a.m. this morning units responded to 713 Patton Road for a barrel next to a business that had fire in it. The fire was extinguished.

Great Bend Police
Criminal damage was reported at 1809 Washington St. A door was kicked in.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a decorative wheel was reported at 270 N Washington Ave.
