Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Friday, seven on Saturday and six on Sunday. There were two fire calls on Saturday. At 2:57 p.m. units responded to 316 Heizer for report of a gas smell inside the house. The Gas Company was contacted to assist with the possible leak. At 3:20 p.m. units responded to a small grass fire at 114 SW 20 avenues. Upon arrival found a small grass fire that was quickly extinguished.
There was one fire call on Sunday. At 1:59 p.m. units responded to a field burning at 689 W Barton County Road. Upon arrival found a grass fire that started in a back yard of a residence and had spread to a cut corn field. The fire was extinguished using two brush units. The owner stated that he was burning his stove in his garage and a spark from the flue started the grass on fire. Units were on scene for one hour.

Criminal damage was reported at Best Western Angus Inn located at 2920 10th St. A Windshield was damaged.
A non-injury accident was reported at 1300 Parrish Road.
Criminal use of a financial card in the amount of $500 was reported at Credit Union of America located at 4708 10th St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 19th and Morton.
A non-injury accident was reported at 2nd and Main Street.
Sex offense was reported at Frey Street.
Criminal threat with a knife was reported at 2214 San Domingo St. The suspect was evaluated by the on call and deemed not a threat. The on call was called back to rescreen the suspect. The suspect was transported to Larned State Hospital

Theft of a gift card was reported at 201 NE Baker St.
A non-injury accident was reported at N U.S. 281 and NW 200 Road.

Burglary was reported in the 200 Block NE 10 Ave. A shed was broken into and items were stolen.
