A motorist swerved to miss a semitrailer pulling out from a stop sign at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday on SE 100 Ave. and SE 50 Road. The Toyota did not hit the rig but took out a stop sign.
A vehicle hit a deer at 5 a.m. Wednesday on North U.S. 281 and NE 20 Road.
Great Bend Police
Theft of a Kansas dealer’s tag at`724 10th St. was reported Tuesday.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a vehicle at 4107 10th St.
A red, 2004 Honda CR-250 dirt bike was reportedly stolen from 6003 10th St. Total loss was $10,000.
A fraud case was taken after someone opened a new account in a Great Bend resident’s name.
Fraudulent checks were reportedly written for $200, $432.06 and $345, to an individual and two local businesses.
Vehicles driven by Bayron Salguero-Casasola and Eduardo Torres collided at 6:24 p.m. in the 2500 block of 10th St., which caused the Torres vehicle to collide with one driven by Nola Kjellberg.
A vehicular burglary at 1311 Madison St. was reported at 4:17 a.m. Wednesday. A wallet was stolen.
