Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Tuesday.
At 9:27 p.m., units responded to a possible car fire at the Walmart parking lot. They found a vehicle with the hood up and liquid running out from underneath. There was no fire; the vehicle overheated.
There was one false alarm.

Barton County Sheriff
A Toyota Avalon hit a culvert in the 500 block on NW K-156 at 6:54 p.m. Tuesday, after the driver swerved to miss a deer. No ambulance was requested.

Great Bend Police
Theft of an iPhone from 4904 12th St. was reported Tuesday.
A hit-and-run vehicle truck a parked vehicle at 2302 10th St.
A motorist in a white Ford pickup was eastbound in the 3700 block of 10th St. at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday and struck a vehicle driven by Shawn Owens, who was stopped in traffic. The vehicle Owens was driving struck a vehicle driven by Marlyn Poncin, who was also stopped in traffic. The person in the pickup then drove away.
