Firefighters made two ambulance runs Monday.

On Monday the Great Bend Police Department took at least 61 reports from one person of criminal use of a financial card, with multiple uses at Cenex, 207 Main; Sonic; Kwik Shop, 2334 Main; Presto; McDonalds; Love’s; Casey’s; both Dillons stores; Walmart; Buff Car Wash; Taco Bell; and the Salvation Army. The reporting party was a rural Barton County resident who had reported the theft of a purse in Great Bend on Nov. 1.
An accident involving a city loader was reported at 4:02 p.m. on Seventh St.

Officers checked a possible burglary in progress at 3:21 a.m. Tuesday at 332 N. U.S. 281.
