Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Wednesday and performed one carbon monoxide check. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A shotgun was stolen from a garage at 2600 Pheasant Pl., it was reported Tuesday.
A vehicle driven by James Aumiller backed into a vehicle on Odell St. driven by Samantha Pfeifer at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday.
A burglary at 901 Holland St. was reported Wednesday. Jewelry was stolen.
A vehicle driven by Orlandus Neal rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jane Rice at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday on 12th St.
A Great Bend resident reported someone charging $1,200 on her debit card.
The sheriff’s office reported someone with outstanding warrants was at Cedar Park Place at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday. A stolen Kansas license plate on a black Pontiac Grand Prix parked at the residence was collected as evidence.
A burglary at 2600 Williams St. was reported Wednesday. Three firearms were stolen.
A burglary at 1722 Main was reported. Pictures and frames were stolen. Loss was $850.
Someone broke the window on a vehicle at 206 Fruit St.
Vehicles driven by Jessica Trower and Lexi Deslauriers collided on Broadway Ave. at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer on east K-4, about 1.5 miles west of Claflin at 7:24 a.m. Wednesday, and at 7:32 a.m. a deer ran into the side of a pickup within half a mile of the same location.
