Barton County Sheriff
Information was taken Tuesday on an attempted phone scam in the county. Someone was trying to get people to wire money for a “family member” in Mexico City.
A domestic call in Barton Hills came at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday. Furniture delivery people said they arrived to deliver items and found a man and woman fighting in the front yard.

Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Monday and nine Tuesday. There were no fires.
              
Great Bend Police
At 10:17 a.m. Tuesday, someone threw something out of a vehicle at Lakin and Baker avenues. A K-9 unit searched the area for drugs. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office also responded.
