A vehicle driven by Scott Halzle backed into a vehicle driven by Ersa Keenan in the 2100 block of Eighth St. at 6:19 p.m.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle driven by Nicholas Roth hit a deer on U.S. 56 at NE 80 Ave. at 7:57 a.m. Thursday.
Theft of auto parts from 514 SW 20 Road was reported Thursday.
Someone broke into a pickup at 4 NW 30 Road, stealing a custom built speaker box and two speakers, it was reported Thursday.
