Great Bend Fire/EMSFirefighters made eight ambulance runs Friday, nine Saturday and five Sunday.There was one false alarm Friday. At 7:39 a.m. Saturday they responded to the Kwik Shop at 3907 Broadway Ave. where gasoline had spilled around the gas pump. At 1:19 p.m. Sunday, a truck was dispatched to 1302 Monroe where a small patch of grass and pampas grass had burned and melted some of the plastic fence.
