Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two emergency medical service calls Monday and responded to one unauthorized burn.

Other fires
A truck was reportedly on fire at 7:47 a.m. Monday, 3-4 miles west of Otis.

Great Bend Police
A known person allegedly broke a window at 1920 24th St., and on Monday was served a notice to appear in municipal court.
Old car parts valued at $2,800 were allegedly stolen from 522 Morton St. Suspects Levi Halford of Bazine and Christopher Buckley of Great Bend were arrested and booked in at the Barton County Jail on charges of felony theft and criminal trespass. Bond for each was set at $5,000.
Theft of metal was reported at 1812 Seventh St.
A window was broken on a vehicle on Polk St.
Three sex offenses were reported.
A checkbook and coins were reportedly stolen from 2500 Zarah Dr.
Theft of three Great Bend Tribune newspaper vending machine was reported Tuesday morning, from locations on 19th St., 10th St. and 1305 K-96.

Barton County Sheriff
A farmer found a four-wheeler in one of his fields in the area of NE 190 Road and NE 30 Ave., it was reported Monday.
A motorist in a Jeep Liberty tried to miss a turkey at 5:14 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of SE 20 Road and went off the road, hitting a tree.
A motorist hit a deer shortly before 8:20 p.m. on NE 120 Ave. and East K-4, just before entering Claflin.
A vehicle hit a deer at 8:25 p.m. at mile marker 178 of K-96.
A Ford Fusion hit a raccoon around 9:10 p.m. in the 600 block of West Lakeview Dr.
