Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Wednesday and five Thursday. This was a small ditch fire on NW 40 Road Thursday.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of items from a vehicle at 170 School House Road, rural Great Bend, was reported Thursday.
A vehicle hit a horse at 7:31 p.m. Thursday on NW 40 Road near NW 70 Ave.
Three vehicles hit deer Thursday evening on county roads. The accidents were at 8:23 p.m. in the 1100 block of NE 40 Ave.; at 8:31 p.m., approximately 200 yards south of the brick plant on U.S. 281 (767 North U.S. 281); and at 8:41 p.m. on U.S. 56, two miles east of Ellinwood (SE 130 Ave. and East U.S. 56).

Great Bend Police
An aggravated burglary at 5000 Timber Creek Road was reported at 11:03 a.m. Thursday. Someone entered the residence and took items from a vehicle parked in the garage.
Someone damaged a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle at Dillons, 4107 10th St. Loss was $200.
A known person allegedly stole items from the 10th St. Dillons. A notice to appear in municipal court was signed and served.
Three subjects allegedly stole items from Love’s County Store, 1221 10th St.
