Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Friday, 10 Saturday and 12 Sunday.
There was a false alarm Saturday.
At 11:51 a.m. Saturday they responded to 218 Baker Ave. for an electrical box smoking/sparking. An electrician was contacted to correct the problem.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer around 7:30 a.m. Friday on East K-4 and NE 10 Ave., 1 mile east of Hoisington.
A billfold was found in a trash can at Eazy Street.
An injury accident was reported at 11:33 a.m. Friday on West K-4 and NW 70 Ave.
A Dodge Ram 1500 got stuck Thursday night in the 700 block of NE 10 Ave. and when the owner went to pick it up Friday it had damage.
A scenic byway sign was stolen from NE 100 Ave. and K-156.
A vehicle hit a deer around 9 p.m. Friday on K-156 near NE 110 Ave.
Theft of radiators and bell housings from 607 Windmill Lane, rural Great Bend, was reported Saturday.
A vehicle was on fire at 9:26 p.m. Sunday at 121 Third St. in Claflin.
A vehicle hit a deer at 6:19 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of East U.S. 56, on the east edge of Great Bend.

Great Bend Police
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a vehicle at Dillons, 1811 Main, it was reported Friday afternoon.
An alleged shoplifter at Walmart, 3503 10th St., was served a notice to appear in court.
A burglary was reported Saturday at Highland Hotel or Great Bend Convention Center, 3017 10th St. Two computers and other electronic items were taken. Loss was $4,000.
A purse and wallet were found at Walmart and returned to the owner.
Two small zip lock bags containing suspected meth were found in the Kwik Shop parking lot at 2334 Main around 3:50 p.m. Saturday.
Several propane tanks were stolen from Walgreens, 3920 10th St., it was reported Sunday.
A license plate was reportedly stolen from 1300 Heizer St. It was later recovered by the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
A man allegedly shoplifted a receiver hitch from Walmart, Sunday afternoon.
