A battery/child abuse case was taken Monday afternoon in rural Great Bend.
A vehicle went in the ditch at 250 North Washington Ave. at 6:19 p.m. Monday.

Pry marks were found on a damaged door at 4916 10th St. on Monday.
A mountain bike was reportedly stolen from the yard at 5260 Timber Creek Road.
Vehicles driven by Robert Kenning and Samuel Keener collided at 12:41 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of 10th St. Vehicles driven by Klevin Neal and Elvira Henning collided at 1:02 p.m. at the same location, the driveway to the Great Wall restaurant.
Vehicles driven by Carli Jording and Nancy Mortimer collided at 3:28 p.m. at Broadway and McKinley.
Theft of lighters from the Kwik Shop at 2334 Main was reported Monday. Two cases of a subject or subjects passing counterfeit bills at the store were also taken Monday. The first report was of a fake $100 bill. Information on the second case was unavailable.
At 2 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report that someone had damaged the front door at 1910 Williams St.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Friday, three Saturday, nine Sunday and two Monday.
At 12:31 p.m. Friday, they responded to power lines arcing at 900 Eighth street.
At 12:44 a.m. Saturday, they checked a building when a carbon monoxide detector was going off, but found no CO.
