Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Tuesday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:49 a.m. Tuesday on NW 100 Road and North U.S. 281.
A burglary was reported Tuesday at 211 North U.S. 281. A large toolbox in the yard was broken into overnight.
Equipment was stolen from the area of the Diversion Dam, in the 400 block of SW 60 Ave., it was reported Tuesday morning. In the late afternoon, there was also a report that 8 to 20 gallons of paint had been dumped in the area of the dam.
Someone broke into a home at 680 NE 120 Road, Hoisington, sometime Tuesday.

Great Bend Police
A woman was reportedly seen shoplifting personal hygiene products Tuesday morning at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.
A window was shot with a BB/pellet at 5003 Quail Creek Dr.
A silver 2006 Toyota Corolla was reportedly stolen from Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St.
Vehicles driven by Trey McFarren and Carol Lyne Thornock collided at 5:14 p.m. in the 3200 block of 10th St.
