Great Bend Police
A notice to appear in municipal court was served Friday afternoon, after someone was bitten by a pit bull in the 800 block of Kansas Ave.
A vehicle driven by Lori Guer backed into a parked vehicle in the 1400 block of 21st St. at 3:38 p.m. Friday.
A vehicle driven by Davis Figger was backing and collided with a vehicle driven by William Saunders at 5:14 p.m. on 10th St.
Theft of a  wallet from 1215 Stone St. was reported.
Oscar Valencia of Great Bend was driving east on Second St. at 10:14 p.m. Friday and struck a tree. He was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of driving under the influence, transporting an open container, no insurance and no driver’s license in possession. He was released Saturday after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
Theft of a purse from a vehicle at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St., was reported Saturday morning. The purse was later recovered on the highway in Rice County.
A cruelty to animals case was taken after a dead cat was found in some bushes in the 1400 block of 12th St.
A hit-and-run vehicle backed into a truck in the 3500 block of 10th St. An unknown motorist also struck a fence in the 100 block of Hickory.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, a person at 3511 Lakin reported hearing his car door open and seeing three males run away when he checked on it. Nothing was missing; extra patrols were requested.
Vehicles collided at 11:20 a.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of 10th St.
A burglary was reported at 2525 5th St. Items were taken from the garage.
A woman reportedly forged a stolen check at Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th St. Checks were reportedly stolen from 1436 16th St.
Windows in the residence at 501 3rd St. were broken.
Theft of a belt from Orscheln Farm & Home, 5320 10th St., was reported.
A burglary at 2119 Polk St. was reported at 12:47 a.m. Monday. Electronic equipment was stolen. A 2:54 a.m., an individual was arrested at that address on a warrant.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 11:59 p.m. Friday on NE 10 Ave. and NE 200 Road.
A stop sign and pole were missing from SW 50 Road and SW 20 Ave. on Saturday morning.
An abandoned farm building north of Susank in the 100 block of NW 200 Road was broken into sometime last week.
A non-injury accident occurred at 4:14 p.m. Sunday on West U.S. 56 at mile marker 191.
A vehicle hit an armadillo 1.5 miles east of Ellinwood on U.S. 56 at 7:12 p.m.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:44 p.m. at NW 40 Ave. and West K-4.
