Kansas Highway Patrol
A Ford pickup driven by Christopher Cherry, 19, of Manhattan was westbound on U.S. 50 in Reno County at 9:55 p.m. Saturday and struck a hay bale in the roadway. The accident occurred about a quarter of a mile west of Scott Boulevard in South Hutchinson. Cherry and his passenger, Martesia Tyus, 17, of St. John, both sustained possible injury and were taken to a Hutchinson hospital. Both were wearing seat belts.
Two vehicles collided at 3:28 p.m. Friday on U.S. 281 at SE 40th St. in Stafford County. A southbound Dodge Caravan driven by Manjia Highness Humphrey, 24, Pratt, left the roadway and the driver over-corrected her steering, entered the northbound lanes and struck a Ford pickup driven by Michael Lane Offerle, 40, of Offerle. The pickup rolled into the east ditch, but the driver was not injured. The Caravan also entered the east ditch and struck a barbed wire fence. Humphrey was taken to Pratt Medical Center with possible injury. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday and seven Sunday.
They performed one carbon monoxide check on Friday. There were no fires.
Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a toolbox from a pickup at 3322 Railroad Ave. was reported Friday.
A hit-and-run vehicle reportedly struck another vehicle sometime Saturday night at an unknown location in Pawnee Rock.

A vehicle driven by Jamie Lamb was northbound on Baker Ave. turning west onto 10th St. at 12:21 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Jane Delong, who was westbound on 10th.
A vehicular burglary at 1211 Main was reported Thursday. A GPS, CDs and change were taken.
A vehicle driven by Elsie Learned was eastbound on Lakin Ave. at 3:54 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Merna Wood, who was northbound on Washington.
Someone cut the tires on a vehicle at 2401 Zarah Drive.
A known male allegedly entered a residence at 2000 McKinley St. on Friday morning, battered the occupant and took $150 from his wallet.
Someone damaged a garage at 5848 Birchwood Dr. with an arrow.
A gas skip for $50.19 was reported Friday morning at 1315 10th St.
A vehicle driven by David McCauley was eastbound in the 4700 block of 10th St. at 11:52 a.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Linda Schlotthauer, who was westbound making a left turn into a private drive.
A vehicle driven by Todd Anspaugh was northbound in the 1100 block of Morton St. at 12:11 p.m. Friday and struck a legally parked vehicle.
Theft of two doors from a Jeep Wrangler at 3401 Forest Ave. was reported.
A vehicle driven by Christopher Elsen was westbound in the 5200 block of 10th St. at 11:06 p.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driveny by Angel Erban, who was also westbound.
