Barton County Sheriff
A battery was reported at the jail at 4:31 a.m. Thursday.
Farm equipment was stolen from the 200 block of SW 20 Ave. A tractor and a loader were missing.
A burglary was reported at 1236 West Barton County Road. Someone broke into the house and took jewelry and the key to a silver 2005 GMC Sierra, which was stolen from the driveway.
A vehicle went into a ditch at NE 20 Ave. and NE 3 Road at 11:27 a.m.

Great Bend Police
Theft of a car dealer’s tag D1730E was reported Thursday.
One of two stolen dirt bikes was recovered in the area of NE 100 Road and NE 20 Ave.
A purple Next-brand bicycle was found in the 200 block of Baker Ave.
