Great Bend Fire/EMS
Two hay bales were on fire around 5 p.m. Wednesday in the area of SW 70 Road and SW 65 Ave. Loss was approximately $130.
Firefighters also made seven ambulance runs.

Great Bend Police
Forgery cases were taken Wednesday at 1315 10th St. and 1624 10th St.
A vehicle driven by Sara Farmer was northbound in the 3900 block of McKinley at 1:04 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Jay Denton, who had stopped in traffic.
A narcotics violation was reported at 3:09 p.m. at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St. No additional information was available as of Thursday afternoon.
Theft of a debit card from 2525 11th St. was reported at 4:49 a.m. Thursday.

Barton County Sheriff
Criminal damage to property at 101 Rock St., Pawnee Rock, was reported at 12:22 a.m. Thursday.
