Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, seven Saturday and five Sunday.
At 12:22 p.m. Saturday they responded to a gas leak at 2420 Forest, after the owner hit a gas line while trenching for a sprinkler system.

Great Bend Police
A gas skip on 19th St. involving a male in a pink shirt was reported at 11:13 a.m. Friday.
Vehicles driven by Jesus Villegas and Doug Parks collided at 12:24 p.m. at 2027 Monroe.
Tires and rims were reportedly stolen from the driveway at 1819 Monroe St.
A vehicle tag was reported stolen from 3307 10th.
A 5-year-old was bitten by a dog Saturday afternoon in the 800 block of Pine St.
A mountain bike with 24-inch rims was reportedly stolen from 1300 Garfield St.
An identity theft case was reported at 2:49 a.m. Sunday.
An injured deer was seen on 10th St. at 5:28 p.m. Sunday and was shot and removed by an officer.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday, a known person was served notices to appear in municipal court for assault and criminal damage to property at 5210 10th St. Apt. 24.

Barton County Sheriff
A hit-and-run accident occurred in La Crosse around 8:35 p.m. Friday, and the Barton County Sheriff’s Office was watching for a suspicious vehicle with front-end damage.
A man reported being bitten by a small dog, possibly a Chihuahua, while jogging Saturday morning at Second and McKinley.
Sometime in the last 30 days, two batteries were allegedly stolen out of tractors on the far east side of Mike’s Tee Box, 156 North U.S. 281.
A woman at Clara Barton Hospital on Saturday evening reported being bitten by a dog in Bushton. Rice County law enforcement requested Barton County take her report.
A Chevy S-10 pickup hit a deer at 8:36 p.m. Saturday, half a mile west of Albert.
