Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Monday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
Someone broke a window on a vehicle at Sunflower Diversified Services, 1521 K-96, it was reported Monday.
Items were reportedly stolen from the yard at 1121 U.S. 281 Bypass.
A burglary was reported at Butterfly Supply, 5858 10th St. Someone broke into the building and stole a drill.
Someone broke into a vehicle at Midwest Energy, 5816 10th St., and stole a gas card and keys.
Golden Belt Humane Society (GBHS) reported a dog bite in the 2500 block of 11th St.
Copper wire was found in the 1200 block of Patton Road.
A “false $10” was received at Kwik Shop, 2334 Main.

Barton County Sheriff
A three-vehicle accident was reported at 7:33 a.m. Monday at McKinley St. and Railroad Ave.
A truck at 2302 Railroad Ave. was broken into over the weekend.
A truck was broken into at 292 NW 190 Road and the battery was stolen.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:33 a.m. Monday on west K-4 and NW 90 Ave.
An animal complaint alleged a neighbor’s dogs may have killed the reporting party’s dog over the weekend in the 1200 block of NW 20 Road.
Another animal complaint concerned three possibly vicious dogs roaming in the 200 block of Cleveland St. in Great Bend. GBHS responded.
A KO Railroad employee reporting finding an Army duffle bag on a train and requesting to meet a deputy in the 2300 block of Railroad Ave.
GBHS was contacted Monday night when someone in the 2800 block of Main St. reported a baby opossum in their kitchen drawer.
