Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday and three Sunday.
An unauthorized burn at 1122 Fry St. was reported at 2:44 p.m. Friday. The occupant was burning wood in the back yard and extinguished the fire when firefighters arrived.

Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident was reported at 1:19 p.m. Friday at Boyd Co-op, 1075 NW 40 Ave., Hoisington.
A non-injury accident was reported at  2:26 p.m. at 824 NE 20 Road.
An attempted phone scam was reported.
A sex offense involving a juvenile was reported at 6:40 p.m. Friday.
A non-injury accident on East U.S. 56 at mile marker 208 was reported at 11:50 p.m.
Animal control picked up dogs in the 60 block of NW 50 Ave., Great Bend, Saturday morning.
Barton County Sheriff’s Office assisted Stafford County Sheriff’s Office from 2-5 a.m. Sunday at the diversion dam, 463 SW 60 Ave., Great Bend.
A dumping complaint was made at 11:50 a.m. Sunday at NE 30 Ave. and NE 20 Road. Cows were dumped on the side of the road.

Theft of a stereo and amp at 2208 26th St. was reported Friday.
Theft of a dealer’s tag at 2015 Forest Ave. was reported.
Theft was reported at 2316 12th St.
A dog at large was reported at Brit Spaugh Zoo at 4:47 p.m. Friday. Golden Belt Humane Society responded.
A non-injury accident was reported at 5:22 p.m. in the 2500 block of 20th St.
A motorist reportedly left the Kwik Shop at 3907 Broadway around 8:45 p.m. Saturday without paying for 27 gallons of fuel; loss was $60.
At 2:17 a.m. Sunday a vehicle that was northbound in the 2600 or 2700 block of Washington struck a legally parked vehicle. Gustavo Cruz-Natividad and booked into the Barton County Jail.
A bag of mattress bedding was stolen from the front porch at 1033 Adams St. Apt. C, it was reported Sunday. Loss was $250.
Criminal damage to property at 312 Hickory was reported.
A burglary was reported at 1:43 a.m. Monday when an individual returned to his home at 1212 Hubbard St. and noticed an open window. Nothing was missing or damaged.
A man reportedly stole two pieces of candy worth $3 from Love’s County Store, 1221 10th St., around 2:52 a.m.
