Great Bend Fire/EMS

A combine was on fire in the 100 block of South U.S. 281 at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday.

A grass fire was reported at 5:13 p.m. at NE 20 Road and 30 Ave., with about 2 acres involved.

Firefighters lit and tended to a bonfire for a Great Bend High School Student Council activity at 6:27 p.m. at the Great Bend Expo, 9810 B-29 Way.

Great Bend Police

At 12:47 a.m. Wednesday, an officer conducted a traffic stop at 4th and Pine for an equipment violation on a vehicle. The driver fled on foot.

A burglary was reported at 4822 10th St.

A bicycle was reportedly stolen from 2608 16th St.
