Great Bend Fire/EMS

A structure fire was reported at 8:20 a.m. Monday at Doonan Specialized Trailer, 36 NE K-156. Firefighters found a heater on a roof on fire. Damage total was estimated at $8,000.

A fire was reported at 7:20 p.m. at Venture Corporation, 214 South U.S. 281, Great Bend, after pallets in a burn bit rekindled.

Emergency Medical Service made 11 runs.


Barton County Sheriff

Criminal damage to property was reported Monday at Veterans Memorial Park, 4724 17th St. Terrance.

A burglary was reported at 577 North U.S. 281 B, Great Bend.


Great Bend Police

A burglary was reported Monday at Best One Tire Retread, 757 Jefferson St.

Amber Parr was arrested at 11:10 a.m. in the 5200 block of 10th St. for driving with a suspended license. She was booked into the county jail for driving while suspended and the vehicle was towed. Parr was released after posting a $1,000 bond through Ace Bail Bonding.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:12 p.m. at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton.

A fraud case was reported at Farmer’s Bank & Trust, 1017 Harrison St.

A battery case was reported at 7:03 p.m. at the Super 8, 911 Grant St.

An officer was requested to stand by when a patient in the Emergency Room at the hospital, 514 Cleveland St., was reportedly causing a disturbance at 4:16 a.m. Tuesday.
