Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters responded to a cooking fire at 12:47 p.m. Sunday at Century Villa Apartments, 809 Coolidge St. A plastic bowl melted on a stove but no other damage was found. There was a smoke smell reported at 4:33 p.m. Saturday at The Reserves at Trail Ridge apartments, 811 Grant St.; nothing was found.
Firefighters were on standby at the farm show on Friday.
Emergency Medical Service responded to two calls Friday, five Saturday and seven Sunday.
